Please! This meeting is really floundering. Usually one person shows, me! Maybe I need to move it to another location and/or change the time. But if you are interested in being part of MA and helping out the only MA meeting in 100 miles of Albany, get a hold of me so we can work together. I am going to suspend the meetings as of April 12, 2012 unless I get some response. I have been doing this for over a year; paying the rent, etc and most times no one shows. My original partner quit out on me after 2 whole meetings. If you are serious about MA, I will consider moving this meeting to another time and location need be. Or you can just call or email me if you need to talk about any sort of marijuana addiction issues but I just can't waste the time on this meeting if no one even bothers to show up. There are multiple commitments at MA Online that I fill so it is not like I don't do my share of service work for the cause.

  5. Do you smoke marijuana to avoid dealing with your problems?
  6. Do you smoke pot to cope with your feelings?
  7. Does your marijuana use let you live in a privately defined world?
  8. Have you ever failed to keep promises you made about cutting down or controlling your dope smoking?
  9. Has your use of marijuana caused problems with memory, concentration, or motivation?
  10. When your stash is nearly empty, do you feel anxious or worried about how to get more?

Marijuana Anonymous Preamble

Marijuana Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share our experience, strength, and hope with each other that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from marijuana addiction.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using marijuana. There are no dues or fees for membership. We are self-supporting through our own contributions. MA is not affiliated with any religious or secular institution or organization and has no opinion on any outside controversies or causes. Our primary purpose is to stay free of marijuana and to help the marijuana addict who still suffers achieve the same freedom. We can do this by practicing our suggested twelve steps of recovery and by being guided as a group by our twelve traditions.

Marijuana Anonymous uses the basic 12 Steps of Recovery founded by Alcoholics Anonymous, because it has been proven that the 12 Step Recovery program works!
